Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone could give me some suggestions about this project I want to start as soon as I figure out what do I need
I've tried to draw it but my sketching skills suck
so here's what I want to make: a giant Cpt. Spaulding (House of 1000 corpses, not the most original idea I know) head
I don't know yet the measures but in order to see from the mouth I plan to make it pretty big
first two sketches are just cardboard+balloon

the other two are supposed to be covered with paper mache, when the paper mache will dry I plan to pop the balloon but keep the cardboard structure since I think it'll give the mask a better stability on my shoulders, also if I'll find the right stuff to use I'll make a cool grey beard

    here's what I think I'm gonna need :
    cardboard of course
    plenty of newspapers
    tape
glue or flour to make the paper mache (I still have to look up what's best..)

do you have any advice for me? do you think that it's too much work for a principiant ? yes I've never done anything like this but I really want to try

The names of the villains were taken from the names of Groucho Marx characters (Animal Crackers' "Captain Spaulding", A Night at the Opera's "Otis B. Driftwood", Duck Soup's "Rufus T. Firefly" and A Day at the Races' "Hugo Z. Hackenbush", among others).

Think you've got a great idea. I'd suggest using Modge Podge (?) instead of mixing glue and flour, it's a lot easier. You can find it at hobby stores like Michaels.
They live. They die. They return. Zombies.
