Thread: Kick Ass Costume

What do you guys think, will the Kick Ass superhero costume be one of the overly popular costumes this year?

I usually stick to traditional scary costumes, but this Halloween weekend I'll be away at a national conference with a bunch of college students. I think a well-done Kick Ass costume could be a huge hit. I'm just afraid that it might be too popular, like The Dark Knight's Joker.

I actually hadn't seen the movie until last night. It was hilarious, but I'm not sure how popular it was when first released. A Red Mist costume would be great, but would be much harder to put together and I'd hate to wear it all night.

I've never bought a costume from a store in my life, but luckily for me my mom's a seamstress. The bodysuit and mask wouldn't be a problem at all. Add to that some knock-off Timberland boots for about $25 and some dish washing gloves, and I'd be set. It would pack well, too.

What do you guys think?

I've been looking for any "offical" Kick Ass costumes anywhere & I haven't yet found them. Though I'm sure they're called something else, especially if they're knockoffs.

I would say if you can pull it off and look awesome, then go for it. My bro-in-law did the Joker 2 years ago but he did the nurse uniform which made it more unique and awesome!
