O.k. so I'm going to be a zombie this year....mainly one from ZombieLand because my boyfriend is going to be Tallahassee....

I have basically everything worked out except I was wondering if anyone knew a good idea for blood on clothing...I'm not exactly sure what would work best. I've never used the "fake blood" stuff on clothes so idk if it'll work well or not.

Also I don't want it to be sticky or anything either so yeah. If anyone has any good ideas or has past experience in this manner it'd be appreciated.

Also, if some people know some good techniques for putting the blood on clothes so it looks realistic...I've heard of using a toothbrush kind of thing and splattering it that way..but idk if there's a better way of doing it.

    All is appreciated thanks

for blood on my clothing i actually use a mix of acrylic paint and water
but i have never tried to wash it out. i use about 2 cups of water and mix reds browns and a touch of black til i get that deep brownish red dried blood colour. the thickness is pretty runny and i drip away. i found via trial and error the thicker it is the stiffer it makes the clothing and the more unreal it looked. i am not sure what others use but i find the fake blood looks too red. and where i work i see alot of blood and its rarely bright red and shiny lol

Yeah I didn't want it to be too red or shiny and stuff...but yeah acrylic paint sounds like a good idea, thanks. And I don't care about it washing out cause these clothes are strictly for my costume and nothing else...i plan on destroying them pretty much haha

I have done this with fake blood well what i did was poor the blood into a bottle and put finger on top of the cap and swing it around wich makes it look like swipes of blood and it might make a few drops also you could put it on your hand and swipe the bloody hand on the clothing which makes it look all nasty hope this helps also if you do this try to get te watery blood
