Does anyone here know where I can get a super cool Cloak Pattern? I have the fabric but I can't find a pattern I like. I don't want a hood but I do want the short layer around the shoulders on top of the long part and sleeves. Sort of a Sherlock Holmes look. Thanks to anyone who can help.

You'll find that most cloaks, when layed out flat, are half-circles, three-quarter circles (like a big Pac Man) or a full circle, with a small rounded section cut from the center for the neck.

The classic Holmes cloak is a victorian garment called an Inverness Cloak.
To be technical it is a merging of cloak and coat, a hybrid of the two.
    You can google it.

It's basically a lined three-quarter cloak or a loosely fitted long coat, depending on the style, that reaches to the bottom of the calf. It has a a collar and a capelet (shorter outer cape) that reaches to just above the wrist if sleeveless, or to the elbow if sleeved (it came both ways)
The sleeveless cloak features arm slits so that the wearer doesn't have to expose their torso to the elements when they lift their arm. The arm is protected by the capelet instead.
Those versions with sleeves were more common, as the Inverness is as much a coat as it is a cloak.

Peter Vincent, the Great Vampire Killer from "Fright Night", wore a sleeveless variant. Sometimes the capelet on Peter's cloak would fall back over his shoulder, but there are plenty of shots to see how one should hang.

If you want to spend good cash and get the real thing, there is this place...

Or you can get a pattern like this, and make it as is or make a sleeveless version with a longer capelet...

    Hope this helps.
