I'm working on a costume for the wife and need some pointers.
The costume is almost exclusively PCV piping covered in paper. The body will have rags draping over it to bulk it up a bit and cover some of the frame. We are planning on having a hood cover part of the head and to cover up any supports the head might end up needing.
The head is the part giving us alot of trouble. It is three layers of 2" blue Styrofoam mounted to a hard hat. Unfortunately, it is still too heavy and falls over it moves slightly out of upright and straight forward. I've tried tying it to the frame to keep it from falling too far, but then it just pulls the rest of the frame with it.
Maybe turn the hat around and run side supports from the bill and the top-center of the hat...
Is the wire from the shoulder of the stalker arms necessary? Looks like it runs to the hard-hat. Could cross(X) to opposite side of the rib-cage, over the shoulders, freeing the head to move with the hard-hat... Definitely put LEDs in the eyes!
