Thread: Grim Reaper Stalkaround

So after following some threads, and seeing some great work, I decided I am going to do my own stalkaround. I will keep you updated through this thread.

I have a cemetery theme so I'm going to go with the classic reaper.

The look I am going for reflects what mogub did with his stalkround.

I'm going to with the layered affect and using the darp cloth.

I am 6'4" already, when done the costume should be about 9 ft.

I am going to build a scythe to hold. I already have the design and just have to start construction. I am working on this while I try to locate a frame to use.

Like most stalkaround it will be on my shoulders with head movement and arm movement. The left arm I will control freely, the second arm will be secured to the scythe and I will actually be moving the scythe. I have the design attached below.

I will gladly answer any questions, and will keep you updated with photos as I progress.

Alright update. so the scythe isn't happening this year, just doesn't take priority, but the costume is, made a lot of progress on it today. all that it needs is the sleeves, and to have the bottom extended.
