Looking forward to a couple of scary characters.

Would appreciate some make up advice.

The first is the warlock Andre Lenoge from the TV miniseries The Storm Of The Century:

I would think that a scroungy bald pated wig, prosthetc chin, nose and warts as well as the makeup kit would suffice on this one.

    Any other recommendations.

The next character is a homely, very grotestic Duchess based on an actual person in history.

Since I am not great at makeup, some sugguestions please. It looks as though
even the hands are scarred on diseased.

    Would appreciate your help.

    The ultimate character:

Mr. Barlowe the vampire from Salem's Lot TV series. But at this time have not decided to create this character.

    Thanks for any help.

Yes, you're right, TC, you'll need to use prothestics to get the best effects. There's alot of full face latex that are available now that make astounding changes to your appearance.

But, some of the effects of being old can be done with make-up alone. I use Ben Nye Aqua Colors (and for more blending Ben Nye Creme). The technique is fairly easy. Put on your base color first. Then just scrunch up your face to see where the lines should be around the eyes, lips, nose, forehead and don't forget your neck. These are the areas that will be darker and can draw in with a fine brush or pencil. After you have these drawn in, blend a little so they're not so defined. Take a light shade of the base and highlight around these areas. I use this for my Hag, my 1950's Home Coming Queen and some other "old" costumes. Unfortunately, I don't have to do as much make-up as I used to! LOL.
