Finally I can stand back and appreciate the fruits of my labor constructing this 9 and a half feet tall menacing character... It has taken a bit of trial and error and taking inspiration from a number of other stalkabouts I've seen on the net. I did cut a couple of corners by purchasing the Insane pain deluxe mask and deluxe Werewolf reacher hands so all I needed to do was construct a body to compensate for the head and arms. The frame was constructed out of 1" pvc mounted to an alice pack frame I found in a surplus store.
The base of the robe was assembled from a basic reaper robe that I cut the sides out and laced black bed sheets to. I bought the glowing eye zombie from party city and used the gauze as accents and the eyes were attached inside the mask so they glow on and off... The cheese cloth, blood stained door drapes and plastic chains with meat hooks were all purchased at my local party city...

Thanks Mistress, This was my first attempt at this kind of costume and now I'm addicted! I'm already brainstorming on next years costume. I'm already sketching out plans for a latex mask. Maybe a leatherface meets evil clown meets slipknot combo...

Thanks man... How far along are you?
Unfortunately the head will have to be stationary this year because my prefabed tripod put too much pressure on my head so I just took it off.
Did you get your hands finished yet?" You can't spell manslaughter without laughter "

Was up until 2 last night paper macheying the second hand
(i get up for work at 6) so I can hopefully paint them today.
I got a small lightweight kids telescope in the toy shop real cheap yesterday too so have full rotation and getting a hardhat in work today too so hopefully i'll have the entire frame done tonight! have you tried getting a 'toy' tripod, theyre alot lighter as theyre not designed to not blow over...
Have finished the arms, and cut material to fit them too so i'm going to make the cloak tonight also.
Just learnt there how to do the hood on another thread. I got a cheap curved sword a few days ago too so im going to use that as the blade for the scythe. I have to get a really big stick though so im thinking about a 1" pvc pipe, and just worp it a bit somehow.... i dont know though because ive nothing to melt it with...
I pretty much have to have it all done by tonight because im bust friday and most of saturday....the pressure is on!!! haha
