Has anybody here done this before? I did some searching on the forums but maybe I didn't look hard enough. Here is another thread about my costume.
Well Dressed Demon
Anyways, I'll be going as a well dressed demon. I do have store bought horns but I do not like them and it's too late for on-line ordering.
Possibility #1 - My ideal horns would be ivory color, pretty small (2-3" in height), and I would use spirit gum and liquid latex to make them look like they are growing on my forehead. I do have access to TONS of cow bone beads and natural horn. I'm wondering if I can crush them and then reshape it with some sort of a glue to make it look like horns. But with this, I would need a mold which I do not have.
Possibility #2 - Shape horns out of Styrofoam. Use spirit gum to glue them to my forehead. Then use liquid latex over them and make them look like they are growing under my skin. Then apply makeup to match my skin color. I don't even know if this is feasible. I'm just throwing ideas out there.
So my Checklist for well dressed demon:
Sclera contacts (All black)
Suit
Need: Horns
** I'm going for a very slick look, sophisticated look. Subtle yet effective. I think just those 3 pieces of articles would be sufficient. No blood, No Gore needed for my costume.

I like the idea of small horns myself, with a pale/palor/simple makeup. And yeah, small white ones would have been great, but you might could try out the horns you already have.
I do not like the idea of the yellow shirt. You're going for a sleek, sophisticated/powerful look it sounds like to me. All black to me would accomplish that nicely. Black suit, black shirt, black tie. If you don't like that idea, then go to a men's clothing section and see about a gun-metal-dark gray dress shirt. Something with a little snaz to it.

I would try something like aluminum foil shaped into the horn then covering it with latex. the foil is light enough but should take the latex.

I think I found something. Looks like I will need to go and find some floral foam. Of course, my horns will not be that large.

Make them out of liquid latex and cotton balls. I had to do that this year to build up an eye socket. Alot more study than you would think. So many uses, once you try it.
