I need to draw a few scars on my face for my costume. No fresh wounds, just old looking scars in thin lines. I need to draw one over my eye, and another somewhere on maybe my cheek or something, but I've never done this before and I needed some tips!

Any help would be great. Thank you!

Try skin colored liquid latex apply with a q-tip in thin strips where you want the scars. Let it dry then do it again, powder with colorless setting powder- add makeup to give it depth.

I don't know what it's called but there is this stuff you put on your skin which causes it to shrivel up. If you put it in a straight line it looks like scar. Sorry I don't know the name.

If you have extra spirit gum, liquid latex and tissue paper/toilet paper .... you might be able to come up with some pretty creepy/amazing results.

Or use Synwax (nose and scar wax) for a built up, puffy scar. Then follow the sam edirections given by LivingDeadGirl.

I was ready to give you advice on scar applications but there is no need.. Thats what I dig about this site. Soo much great advice! All of these methods will lead you to the results you want. I would experiment with a couple of the methods and choose the one that suits your preference...

My favorite for scarring is Rigid Collodion. If you can find it, the stuff is way cool!
