Hi Folks,
I wanted to dress up as "THE" Grim Reaper for Halloween this year. I looked around at several sites, and I see one that looks good, however, I am not sure it will fit (even if the measurements given are correct). I am 6'3"and about 290 lbs. I am an overall big guy, and though my weight primarily is in the midsection, it is not sloppy. "It is not a beer belly - it is a fuel tank for a sex machine" ;-)
Can anyone suggest something that they think might work? I would probably spend up to $100 for the right costume I will be able to wear for a while. Of course - I would need to be able to get it well in advance of 10/31.
Thanks in advance for any help you all might be able to give!
Jeff

My best advice would be to contact a local seamstress/seamster. (Look up garment services in your local directory of choice)
Have them sew you a costume. It might cost a wee bit, but if you plan on using it more than once, it's worth it.
In particular, a plain black cloak made by a seamstress this year can be the grim reaper now, and countless other costumes in years to come.

Ive had trouble with this in the past...damn small people!
Unfortunatly ive never had much success in finding big costumes.
One idea is getting bedsheets and glueing them together? Im making a 9ft tall grim reaper this year and so far, thats my plan. I havnet got access to a sowing machine, and although i can sow a little, i wouldnt be able to sow a costume. So im going for glue....and maybe staples!!! Will let you know how it goes...
