    Question Need quick advice about RIT dye & whitewash – 10-17-2009,08:38 AM


    I'm wondering if these or any other products that anyone may know of can take a cream colored sweater and make it bright white.

    My husband and I are an interracial couple (he's black & I'm white), and I'm being a "White Russian" and he's being a "Black Russian". We got authentic Ushankas online from Russia, and he has is all black costume ready to go. I have the white hat, furry winter boots, and am looking for some sort of white sweater dress. I can find cream colored ones all over the place, but no white.

    Anybody have any advice? Please help, I'm running outta time!

    Not sure that you'll get a true white. Unless the cream is really dark, I think with the white accessories people will get the idea.

    RIT is great stuff. They sell a color remover that may do just what you need. Definately give it a try, Ive always had great results with RIT dyes.
