Thread: Not your typical cat costume help...

So, I've decided to be a cat for Halloween because, quite frankly, it fits my personality. I don't want to go as a typical cute, black cat though. I wanted to go as more of a wild feral cat... but I'm kind of at a loss for ideas. I've been a pirate every Halloween since I can remember and I'm trying to step outside my little bubble and create something new.

I'm probably not going to go for the crazy, real looking cat makeup, but I don't want to just have whiskers. And I don't want to wear just all black, but throw in some cool patterns or rips onto my costume...

Any suggestions?

Well, being as how my hubby calls me the crazy cat lady and I took care of some feral cats this past year, I'll give you some ideas that I would use if I were doing this costume. I agree that you should look pretty beat up, even having uneven ears and a scar or two on the face.

*um, the male cats I fed were notorious for spraying everywhere, because they weren't neutered at first
