I want to put together an Icabod Crane costume.

I have enough Colonial type clothing for the overall costume.

I have just ordered an Icabod Crane wig ( white powdered) with very long pigtail.

I have a pair of Ben Franklin specticles.

The question I have is what about the hat?

I have a regular tricon colonial hat. Would that do or is there a special hat for this character.

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

That is a great costume idea and i think the tri corner hat is exactly what you need. Sounds like you have this all figured out already. I would love to see pictures of this when you get it done.

It's been a while since I have looked at Sleepy Hollow with Johnny Depp.

I also have the Disney feature as well. Haven't view that for a while either!

Maybe add an oversized square buckle on the side of the tricorn.
