OK, I know this is a general question but I need a general answer. I'm making a grinch costume and just got my fur...wrong color but that's a different story. It doesn't look like enough fabric and since I'm returning it how much fabric would you order for a fairly tight set of pants. From ground to waist line is approx. 37" and I wear 34" in waist. Funny, because I wear 34 x 34 in jeans.

Anywho, anyone have an idea??

I have a pattern for pants (Simplicity 4760) which recommends 2-7/8 for 45" and 2-1/4 for 60"
