I went down the Halloween Express last week and got a lot more than I planned to get, including a new costume. The mask is Wild Thing from Zagone Studios. I got it and gloves, plus legs and hooves. The problem? I don't have a body. I originally wanted to wear some kind of reaper cape and shred and remove some of the lower cape so the legs would be visible. I don't think that is going to work though, because the beast legs have huge thighs that stretch the cape too much. Not to mention the legs don't look so great from the back, the thick fur is only in the front, while in the back you have all of that short fur you see for the inner thigh/top of the pants. Looks like giraffe print. One last thing to consider is my neck, the mask doesn't cover it in the front or back.

    So, any ideas?

For the neck, you could probably make a synthetic fur collar. If you can find a decent match to the legs, you could add on to the back as well. If it is going to be dark where you are wearing it, you can get away with a less than stellar match.

I will be using low lighting, and probably blue or black at that. I did consider trying to find some kind of fur I could use instead, but I'm at a loss of wear to look. Not to mention I don't know a thing about sewing or the like.

I bought a cheap robe today, without mesh coving the face like my last one had, so I'll go at it with some scissors tomorrow and see what I can get.

Both Hancock and JoAnn should have fake fur. You can also use liquid stitch or something like that to just glue the fabric into place.

Make the cloak short in front, longer on the sides, but fringed and long in the back to cover most of the back of the legs.

Or wear a shirt and a cape... A turtleneck would cover your exposed neck up and the cape would hang down the back, covering up the less than perfect back of your legs.
