    Yup.

I got some overalls on clearance for DH's costume, but it needed to be aged. I was really freaking out about the first few swipes of sandpaper and stripping out some of the color was kind of scary!

Now I'm ready to go at it with electric sander...

Ha! Please, I destroy clothes and wear them on a normal day. Haha!
    Can you stake my heart?

I couldn't wait for my wife to dive into the wedding dress with scissors and dye, I purchased for $20, however, I had to convince her not to use her own wedding dress?

I just go to the Goodwill or someplace if I want to get clothes to ruin.

BUT...I did buy a fairly expensive pair of Dickies coveralls one year for a Michael Myers costume. I couldn't bring myself to splatter blood on them the first year, but I did finally do it for the second year. Now, I love them. I figure, if I need them to work on the car or something, then I'll just wear them as is...worse case scenario is that they get a bit dirty and that fits with my costume anyways.

Whoa, CO, I don't think I could bring myself to that. I would go to goodwill for my costume dress.
I have bought cheap costumes that were new and aged them.
For me the funnest part was buying the tools to do the aging.
