Thread: Anne Boleyn costume-need help!

My 22 y.o. daughter is thinking about dressing up as Anne Boleyn for Halloween. Of course she would wear a period dress, but we are trying to think of ways to make her look more, well....Anne Boleynish Lol! We want to somehow attach a fake sword or axe to the back of the neck as if she is being beheaded. I know they have those things that look like a knife, etc that can attach to your head, but does anyone know of or have any suggestions for the neck thing? I'm also thinking pale makeup to make her look dead, and of course blood on her neck. Any other suggestions? Thanks!

Isn't Anne Boleyn the one who is believed to have had six fingers on one hand? An extra finger might be a fun addition. (I think it was her left hand, but I'm not totally sure - maybe check google)

How about getting one of those plastic executioners axes and cut it out to fit the back of her neck and then attach part of what you cut off to the front of her neck so it looks like it went all the way through.

I cannot help with the axe/ sword , but in portraits she wore a pearl neclace with a jewelled "B", if you watch ugly betty she has on too!
