Since it's getting too close to Halloween and I don't have a costume(long story). I need to get one at a local store. What store did you buy your costume at (not online, cause that isn't an option for me) or do you know of one that has halloween costumes, besides Spencers? Any possible stores would be good.Thank you.

Well... I don't know what stores are close to you. Besides Spencers there's "Spirit Halloween Store" which is seasonal and usually sets up in malls. They have a pretty good selection.
Other than that... K-mart has some (not that great of a selection), Wal-Mart has some (even worse selection).
If I where you, I'd look in the phone book to see if there's any costume shops in your area. Maybe a "party" store would sell some costumes (but that's a bit of a long shot, I think).
You may have to be a bit creative this year and try to use old clothes or clothes from Goodwill or a Thrift shop and build something on that.
Good Luck, don't give up!!!!

i usualy like to make mine. The best thing to do sometimes is to look through your closet and see if anything has potential. then build of of that with store bought accessories.
I'm crazy, you're crazy, we're all crazy. Let's shake on it.

I also get mine early (post Halloween shopping)). And then start planning in early Sept, using a notebook with a list of current costumes pieces. Otherwise I just dig out some clothes from the ol' closet.

I've gotten mine at Spirit - some full some half price - and modified them a bit or mixed and matched robes, accessories and masks so they don't look like they came right out of a bag. But the blue Master Replicas FX lightsaber goes with anything and is always a big hit. I got that on sale at Meijer when the Star wars DVD's came out and they had that stuff on sale. Only a couple kids comment that I'm not dressed up as Star Wars specifically.

I bought mine at Party City in early September. I can't stand waiting to the last minute when their is a good chance they will be sold out of the costume I want.
