My husband and I are going to a big adult halloween party next Saturday and he wants me to go as a cat. Just thought about maybe him going as a "tom" cat so we'll have a theme going. Any ideas on how we might distinguish a tom cat from a cat (or a sexy kitten)? Thanks for any suggestions.

You message made two things pop in my mind: the Aristocats and The Stray Cats. I think your husband could either do kind of a jazzy look (bow tie, tail coat or zoot suit jacket) over his cat body, or kind of a 50s, pompadour/DA, leather jacket look like the old Stray cats rockabilly group. Just a couple of "manly" touches with a single-color outfit, then a nose, ears, & whiskers would probably work.

And then, you could totally do up the princess cat look, with a bow or diamond collar.

If you'd like to go the cheaper route, he can always dress up like a normal cat and have a name tag that says "Tom"...he'd be a tom cat...

A sexy kitten would have more tight fitting clothes, possibly fingerless gloves, and long fingernails. for a tom... hmmm... maybe he could have a chunk bitten out of one ear, alley cat style and have a baggier coat.
I'm crazy, you're crazy, we're all crazy. Let's shake on it.
