Thread: Costume Problem, need a little Advice

I am going to be super girl this year. Got costume and it fits but when i am at work i reach above my head and the costume raises up and wont stay put. Considering the costume is a one piece dress... I thought about tacking a swimsuit bottom in the costume to hold it in place but I have to pull the costume over my head. I am a total amature at sewing and I really really want to wear it. I am as big a fan of Superman/girl as I am Halloween. I am all ears to any advice anyone has.

What about adding snaps to the swimsuit bottom?

That would totally work! I hope I can find some that won't show on the outside or be uncomportable, i work most of the day. I have very little options though I live in a very small town with a walmart and a dollar general store. I know walmart has some velcro in the tiny 16 foot sewing section. I wonder if that would work? I had to drive 3 counties over to buy the boots I am wearing with the costume. Thanks for the help.
