Does anyone know how to make a fake mohawk. I would rather make one that buy it. I have short hair and I do not want to cut or shave my head. This is the only prop I need for a road warrior costume. I will post pictures. Thanks.

You could check out the fabric store for their fake fur. If you carefully cut out a strip of it, you could blend it into your hair (not sure what would be a safe glue tho - something that washes out easily!). Problem with this is that you'd need a little bit of hair on your head to comb over the edges of the fabric, otherwise you'd see the mesh of it pretty obviously.

If you are up for a time consuming task, you could get a good bald cap and carefully lay mohair down on it to make the mohawk. You could use latex or superglue to stick the hair down, working from the back of the cap to the front.
There are a few mohawk wigs for sale in costume shops that may work well enough for what you want....somewhere in the north-woods darkness, a creature walks upright.
And the best advice you may ever get is never to go out…at night.

You can use elmers glue in your hair. It washes out. 9 times out of 10 when you see people with giant mohawks, its held up with elmers.
