Hello all!
I had this brillant idea that is just not coming together. I wanted to be dead..no blood or gore, just dead. And then I thought it would be great to be dead AND sepia-toned! I tried some makeup which came out okay. Any ideas on clothing besides a brown dress? And what are your suggestions on makeup? At first I tried bronzer but that looked silly. I believe pale is the way to go. Any tips would be great! Thanks!

Pale sounds good. I wouldn't go white, because it doesn't look real...i would probably get a cheap foundation that is about 2-3 shades lighter than your normal complexion. My suggestion would be to overdo your eyes in brown eyeshadows. Do darker browns under your eyes and in the crease under your brow bone to get that sunken in dead look. You can add in some greys if it is looking too weird with all that brown. You can do a dark bronzer or just brown eyeshadow where cheeks sink in. Like when you suck in your cheeks...that part. A general dusting of bronzer would probably help tie it together. Um as for the outfit. You could probably tea stain a white shirt and have a brown skirt if you didn't want to do an all brown dress.

Several make-up companies make a green concealer to cover red spots. A good coating of the concealer, then a good powdering with a lighter powder works well on lighter complexions. You don't need to cake it on either, just more than you'd use for normal cover up.

I agree with Haunt, go tea stained! Make up some strong tea in your sink and soak something white. Remember that some will wash out, so soak it a little darker than you want it. Something cheeseclothey.. if that makes sense.. Makeup - don't know, the above ideas sound great! Remember that real dead is actually grey toned flesh.

The concealer after powdered tends to be grey looking, especially if you put more on than you normally would for your regular makeup. Normally with the green concealer you're just covering a small spot or 2 like zits or a red cheek, but when you put just a little more on & powder it with a neutral powder it doesn't look green.
