Hey all,
I am getting everything together for my Pennywise the clown Halloween costume, currently I have a foam latex prosthetic covering my nose, eyes and forehead, some scary teeth and got the clothing and gloves too.
The only thing left to get is the actual face paint etc. and a wig, this is where I need your help...
For the face paint I obviously will be needing to paint the latex prosthetic as well as the rest of my face, it's going to be all white with some dark contours and a red nose, but I am unsure as to what is suitable for the job of painting both my face and the prosthetic, can I use the same product for both or one for the prosthetic and one for my skin? Also what products are best?
Secondly comes the wig...as much as I can find 101 bald caps with hair around the edge those bald caps will come over my forehead meaning they will overlap with the prosthetic. I can't seem to find any wigs that just fit around the back and sides and not the top so I assume I'm going to have to construct something. I was thinking I would just get some cheap afro type clown wig and hack it up a bit leaving just a back and side piece but then I would have to attach it to my head somehow? That's the bit I'm not sure of. Ps. I am bald so actual hair on my head is no concern, I'll be going with the authentic balding clown look
Any help or advice you can give would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Russ
