So, hello everyone. This is my first post as a newly registered member here, because I'm looking for a bit of help (though what with Halloween being my favorite holiday, I'm sure I'll stick around). My wife, brother-in-law, and I are planning to go as an Undead Carnival this year. I'm going to be the Ringleader/Promoter, my wife is going to be a fire breather, and her brother is going to be a circus geek.
While we have most of the ideas and planning down, I've run into a snag as far as how much make up to buy. I was planning on keeping it simple with liquid latex, tissue paper, and cream make ups, but I haven't the slightest clue how much an 1oz of makeup covers (my wife's costume in particular has a lot of skin to cover). If anyone here is more savvy with costume makeup, I'd appreciate some insight.

Not going to be much help here, but I would think it would depend on how well the makeup covers, and how thick you put it on. Some really heavy makeup that covers well could possibly be mixed with moisterizer to make it go farther, or you could add powder for staying power and to help coverage (although it tends to crack and make you look old). Maybe buy a "test" tube to get an idea of coverage?
The costume theme sounds great though! Be sure and post pictures please!
`WingIf you build it, they will run...
