Thread: need help . big boy here treying to find mafia costume

Hey i been looking around the web for some mafia/mobster costume ideas. i just cant find much that will work for my size. im a big boy. about 6 foot 350lbs. and a little bulky in my arms thighs and shoulders. would any one have a few sites they use for plus size items for Halloween. i really just need the suite all the accessory's i already have access to. thanks guys.

How about just going to Big and Tall or someplace similar and getting a regular suit? Pinstriped is "traditional" of course, but any dark suit will do. Invest in something good enough that you can use again after Halloween.

Do you have a friend that sews? If so, you can get cheap material at Wal*Mart, etc. and have it made. It doesn't have to be high quality as it's just for a costume. I don't sew but have used fabric and my glue gun to make clothing for costumes.

How about making some "concrete shoes" outta cardboard and wrapping some seaweed and a couple of chains around you?

The problem with online costume shopping is that you NEVER get the size you think you are!!! I'm a lady with extra to love, and I've given up on store bought costumes. Check Burlington Coat Factory (if you have one) for a suit jacket and pants for a discounted price, and don't forget Craigslist and the Salvation Army/Goodwill!!

these are all good ideas. i like the card broad box / cement shoes idea lol i might have to explore this
