    Hi everyone,
I need your help with this one ... this is the first halloween me and my girlfried share and we want to have a spectacular costume. I would go for something creepy, while she would want something more like...cute, girlish i'd say. what couple costume can we make to combine both things. i find it rather impossible, but if you have any ideas, anything will be appreciated. thanks!

I've got the perfect solution: zombies. It works because there are all types of zombies. Let her pick the couple's costume she wants where she can still look pretty (you could be a football player and a cheerleader or Dr. and Nurse, etc.), then together make the zombie version. You could always be more "rotted" than she is. Good luck!

    Beauty and the Beast

Light and dark or positive/negative or Good/evil or life/death (this would be fun to see how you'd translate it) she could wear all white, white wig, sparkles and glitter and really glossy white everything... you could wear black, black wig, corroded, rusty, worn and frayed clothes and accessories... if you were the life/death aspect, you could even get a skull prosthetic and look REALLY cool and scary.

I'm thinking Hunchback of Notre Dame - Quasimodo and La Esmerelda. You get to be creepy, she gets to be the gorgeous Gypsy.

You can also be two pirates (she can choose something sexy and provocative, with lots of ruffles, lace and beads and you would go for something creepy with one leg and one eye and a dark make-up to make you look really evil) or you can be two vampires (there are also some sexy and extremely feminine costumes for her, while for you, well you know...blood, teeth and scarry make-up). I also vote for Beauty and the Beast or Quasimodo and Esmeralda

All the above suggestions are great. My hubby always likes to be something of a more scary vibe too so as others have suggested, just get ur gf to think of a costume and Halloween it up some.

Last year we were little dead riding hood and the wolf. My costume was just a regualr red riding hood costume but with a different more gothic cape that hid the fake blood on my neck where the wolf had torn out my neck. Hubby had a full wolf mask that we put some fake blood on around the mouth and then had a torn up shirt with blood stains. --We got soo busy with the party we don't have pics to share sorry! But it was the best of both our worlds Same concept can be applied to lots of couples.

I have always wanted to be The Little Mermaid with a Halloween spin but I'm not in bikini shape by a long shot but maybe could work for u?- Standard mermaid costume but with a fake harpoon spear through the fish tail for her and he would wear a regular Prince Charming costume but look as if he has drowned... slicked down wet hair, few strands of seaweed.
