Thread: Has anyone dressed up as Ghostface from Scream???

Every year for my yard haunt I dress up as one of the "classic" or well known horror movie characters and scare the TOT's and their parents. ;-) I was thinking about finally being Ghost Face since I haven't been him yet and since Scream 4 came out this year. Was just curious if anyone else has dressed up as Ghost face to scare the TOT's and if it was successfull or not? Thanks!

I haven't, but I don't see why it wouldn't be successful. What you should do is pretend you are an animatronic by buying that phone from Spencer's, and than have sign please pick up the phone.

I've actually thought about doing something like that. Wasn't sure if I should stand near the phone where they can see me and pretend I'm just a prop and then come at them or If I should be hiding and then jump out and come at them. I may also try and hack the phone prop somehow to have a better trigger then the pitiful motion detector on it or the little lever on the rotary dial. Also put a better speaker with it.

Just wasn't sure if Ghostface has been overdone and if people might laugh instead of be scared.

I planned early and got the bobble head version of Ghostfsace for my fiance to wear. The last movie came out later and I was surprised to see the big masks used as a prank in the film, My fiance wore the skeleton bobblehead costume last year and pretended to be one of my animatronics. Pretty convincing and the tots were either terrified or thrilled when he would come at them from his pose. I like the comedic quality of using bobblehead costumes, they are amusing and/or frightening depending on the tot. As far as Ghostface being overdone, I personally dont think so and since the movie came out the younger crowd should be well aware to be scared of him.
