Thread: Need help with MIB costume

Hello everyone! This year I wanted to be Edgar from the first MIB movie. This is the first year I plan on "making" my own costume and I need some tips. I pretty much just need a certain color of overalls and long sleeve button up shirt but I don't know of the best place on buying this stuff. Is it best just to go to the local thrift store and hope to get lucky over the next month or is there a good place on the internet to find cheap clothes? Also is latex skin easy to apply or am I getting in over my head with this costume?

My first thought here was "How on earth can you move while you're in a monster-in-a-box costume". Well at least it's not a horrible, horrible acronym like Save The Date.

I'd try a thrift store first. Or even try Gander Sports Bass Pro Authority Mountain Shop or Tractor Supply Co, check clearance racks. Any "costume" you find will probably look cheaper and cost more than real overalls. Latex can take some experience for total perfection but since you want to look like your skin isn't on correctly I think you'll have no trouble making it look just right.
