Thread: Looking for Special Efx Makeup Picture Resources

So something I have been having a really hard time with finding are resources to learn about things like how a body decays, the layers of items, structures, etc. to use when you are sculpting or painting on special efx makeup whether it be monsters or it be a zombie or something dying... this might be a very lame question to ask but I really love having tons of resources at my finger tips and was wondering if anyone had any they would want to share. It could be books, websites, magazines, anything! I had thought about using the Grays Anatomy book for some but I didn't know if there were mainly focused on the dieseasey, monster or death point of view. I hope this makes sense and any suggestions would be amazing! Thanks guys!

Hit the discount shelves at Barnes & Noble. They've always got cheap books on human anatomy. Once I found a book there called "120 Diseases" complete with photos. Medical textbooks and paramedic training manuals have good photos, taken in a very clinical manner. You can also look to websites like rotten.com, though many of these tend to be more sensational and don't offer clear pictures of the biology.
