How do I put the top portion of the costume on? Do you put it over your head or do you start by putting it over your feet and then pulling it up? I'm not sure what's the easiest way to do it? Maybe they're just too small for me.

I dont have these costumes but from experience with costumes in general I can tell you a few things.

if the top has strings to loosen I would loosen them and depending on how big the girls are and how wide the corset is determines if going over the head or pull up.

If its just stretchy material, again, it depends on the girls and how wide the top is able to stretch. Put the undershirt on first after all your underthings if you use them.

I use dancer quality tights and sometimes a corset underneath a costume corset ( vs a regular bra.) This also makes it easier to pull up if thats the route your going as your legs will be slippery with the tights/pantyhose material.

If you have the costume and you still cant figure it out post more details on the tops. Like zipper only, just a stretchy or non stretchy, can loosen with the tie up.

Like I said, I always get in my underthings (as they slim you down) before trying on the costume so you can see if its a good fit for show time. Get the dance quality pantyhose/tights and a corset with a built in bra for the girls. I recommend Fredericks of Hollywood. If you need extra snug you can add over the corset a cincher, sometimes its necessary for a really sleek look.

It helps if you have someone to assist you too, for tie ups in the back and zippers, helping get your shoes on, etc. Theres no right or wrong way to put it on, just gotta look at the top for tie ups to loosen, zippers, etc. If you just have a tube top type thing, see how stretchy it is and eyeball it before doing the pull up method so you dont rip it accidentally.

Sometimes it help s if you have the assistant put it on for you so you can hold in certain areas, like your girls and shift stuff as the top is put into place. I always hold them back while someone pulls up for me then release. If over the head keep your arms up and let them pull it down over for you, like a barbie doll.
