    1) Buy a pair of girls tights

    2) Cut the legs off at the top.

    3) Cut off the the toe seams at the bottom

    4) Add a tiny little nick about 3 inches from the bottom

    5) Try on gloves with your thumb coming out of the tiny little nick which will stretch.

    Voila! Cheap, fingerless gloves.

Cost: Anywhere from a few cents at Good Will to a few dollars.

Another option for "white" gloves be it fingerless or maybe for a clown costume, would be to pick up a pair of DOLLAR TREE manicure white cotton gloves for a buck found in their cosmetic/bath section. Cut the finger sections off for fingerless gloves. Should fit over most bucky hands I'd think.

If you needed colored gloves like red maybe, I wonder if you couldn't just use fabric spray to colorize them on the outside. I know places like Michaels Crafts sells different kind of craft sprays like this but I've never used it myself. Has any sprayed fabric before? Curious about the results.

I did just that except where the toes were I cut a hole for each finger then I sewed some flame fabric in pieces hanging down from it. I did find a pair of black lace ones at Party City last year. I do prefer to make my own though!

Spookie I did use the spray fabric I got mine at JoAnne's. I wanted to spray my tablecloth that I dyed black last year but it was polyester and came out grey. It worked nice but you don't get much paint for the price of it. If you were to do something small it would be fine. Didn't know about the gloves at the Dollar store, thanks gonna check it out!
