This is a link to a buycostumes mask. It is motion activated and has sound.
It has a short video that seems pretty cool.

Have you guys bought or seen this mask in use?

I have 2 teenage boys who really want one each. Before I buy please let me know if you think it is a good buy.
Thanks so much! On to Halloweeeeeeeen!

Both of them look pretty nice, but they are sold out and don't anticipate getting them back in stock until August... and I've seen them put up "anticipated restocking" dates before .

I'd definitely suggest signing up for their newsletter so you get notice of their sales and discounts. They run stuff all the time and usually someone on the board here posts about it in the coupon/discount section, but it would be good to make sure if you're considering a bigger purchase.

Hope someone has some knowledge of those masks to help you out!

I got the blue demon one last year and everyone loved it. The biggest problem I have with them is the foam they use for the masks exterior, after 5 hrs last year there were tears on either side of the mouth. It was a little dissapointing considering I paid nearly $50 for the mask so this year it's becoming a prop. I think the werewolf one would work better with less wear and tear but I couldn't find any here so I can't say for sure.

I know nothing about this company but I found the mask for $23.00 HERE.

At the time of this writing there are only 2 left!

If the company is reputable, it's quite a deal!

Are you sure they have sound? Or is that just the video? Wondering.

The masks do not have sound. We sell them too. If you watch the video, at the very end it says masks do not make sounds. We have three styles of the Ani-Motions masks in stock now and there are two new ones we're expecting this summer. Our prices are $27.99 - $29.99. I have the werewolf mask. Pretty good deal to get a movable mouth mask if you get it at a price in the $20's, which is what I paid at Party City last year. Because they can see your mouth through the mask mouth, you probably want to point your mouth at an angle to the viewer when you open it. And the mouth doesn't move as much as the pictures make it look unless you want to dislocate your jaw while doing it. But I still think it's pretty cool. The lips really do pull back when the mouth opens (not a huge amount, but they do). I have no idea how they did that.

It gets a little sweaty in there when your chin/cheeks touch the mask -- because it has to fit tightly to the face for the mouth to work right. (a velcro strip holds it close) So my wife made me a fabric tube to wear around my chin to the top of my head to make it comfy. (sort of like a gator neck warmer, she made it out of fleece which provides cushion and is stretchy)
