Here's my Black Knight costume from Monty Python a few years ago. I just got to pulling these off the camera. The Tunic was some fabric with a hole cut out on top with ties on the side. I traced the logo & had it screen printed on the front, I had two long sleeve tees, one with the arm cut off & one with both arms, so if I took off the tunic I would still have the look. Nice black Italian leather slip-on from Good Will for $5.00 Comfy! The Sword was $ 20.00 I got it from some prop house in NY, ( sorry cant remember the name ) it was heavy metal, the plastic ones at like Party City would cost just as much. The cut off arm was a Nurf Football cut in half, spray painted with a 1/2" PVC cut & glued into it for the bone. Mostly everything was velcroed together. The helmet was a Black bucket from the Dollar Tree. I took the handle off, cut & sanded the top
of the bucket which became the bottom ( I use a hacksaw blade no handle ( the handle kept getting in the way ) Some thin foam for the straps & half beeds for the rivits. Spray painted it grey then some silver, a little purple & black acrylic paint for weathering. The eye part was cut with some see threw fabric glued to the inside. I ran out of time to cut the holes at the mouth so I just used electrical tape, cut to shape. I didn't but should of put some padding
on the inside where it rested on my head. There's a little pc of plastic that killed me all night. I just put my arm behind my back ( the tunic helped hide that ) Time 4 - 5 hrs for everything but the helmet & 3hrs for all the helmet.
It was fun but under time constraints not so much. Wanted to share to all who inspire me. Thanks, Enjoy. Sorry if I went on to long.

Thanks. Some lady at the party was like, Who's That?, Who's That! I was going to say " I fart in your general direction " But it would of went right over her head.
