Thread: Voodoo Priestess costume...need input

I am doing a voodoo new orleans party this year and wanted to dress as a voodoo priestess. I found this corset and think it might look nice with the skull details over a full skirt that is maybe torn and tea died. I would try to do an off the shoulder shirt with lace details and maybe some feathers and bones attached. I was trying to go with the Tia Dalma character look from Pirates, but not sure that the corset I chose is too dark and hers is more of a tapestry look. I am not trying to be her character, just kind of getting some inspiration. What do you think?

Dawn! Thanks for the link. I wish I could afford to buy one from her they are Amazing! That is definatelybwhat I have in mind. Glad I am starting early so hopefully I can find or make what is in my head by Halloween!
