Hey guys, Who better to discuss horror movies than haunters??? I love all kinds of horror movies. Cheesy, sleazy, bizarro...you name it! Let me respond to some you cats: 1.) ANGELEYE: "Inside" is amazing! "Machine Girl" was okay, but "Tokyo Gore Police" was way better. 2.) FREUDSTEIN: 'Suicide Circle" is great! "Doll Master" is wonderful. Loved it. If I may make a few suggestions: 1.) Haunting in Conniticutt (actually really good) 2.) Drag Me To Hell (best horror movie of the year) 3.) The Mist 4.) REC 5.) The Orphanage 6.) Let the Right One in.
I can back you up on The Haunting in Connecticut, and Drag Me To Hell. I haven't seen the others you have mentioned yet.
Jose has great taste in flicks!
hi guys!
Hallow all -- Just had to add my seasonal 2 cents and state that I think the latest Christmas Carol with Jim Carey's voice is about as scary an animated version of that story as any I have ever seen! 3-D glasses really brought it home for me! Here's to the Ghosts of all our Christmas's - Past Present and Future - but especially the ghosts of Future Fun on Halloween Forum in 2010!
I'm going to ressurect this topic. Anyone here like Italian Horror? It's my thing
Hi everyone. I love the old black and white horrors, and anything with the amazing Vincent Price but only have a few, always on the look out for dvds though. I will watch more modern horrors but get a bit fed up with the ones that are all blood and gore and not much atmosphere or storyline. I'm also a big fan of Gothic horror novels/stories, Le Fanu, Stoker, Dickens, James and Poe.
hello all yes i too love the old horror movies!! they just cant reproduce the feel and quality of the great oldies!! movies like! the 1950"s science-fiction classic forbbiden planet! with anne francis. who just passed away this week at age 80... if you've never sean this movie. you must check it out!! it was way before its time in special effects. and opened the door for alot of famous actors and actresses! who wear discovered thru this film like leslie nielson....
