The pictures are just beautiful and I cant believe how big the plants are. so beautiful and healthy looking. Cant wait to hear what your plans are for the gardens this summer!!
spookie , i think i'll TRY not to had another garden bed this year , it is getting alot of work for me to take the weeds out etc but hostas are not fussy plants so , and what i invest in the plants i dont invest in halloween so i'll try and keep some extra $ earlier for halloween this year since i need to buy christmas lights (alot) next year as well) ..... i aleready have some hostas reserved from this fall at my friends place that she divided for me (she sells hostas and as over 2500 hostas variaties in her private gardens)
dear witch, i love your garden. you took some great photos.i also use my budget between my garden, halloween and xmas... i planted knockout roses this year, i have never had much luck with roses but this type did well, they are white with a citrus scent to them.i have a winter blooming camilea that i am very worried about, the winds here have been dreadful...

dear witch, you should try the knockout roses. i am not a rose person at all, and only planted them last year after a friend gave me a hard time. but i must say i am very pleased with them. so if i can do it you can.. i have soooo many photos, i just never get around to loading them onto my computer, but it is on my to do list. i have started on several projects for our haunt and i need to get the photos in my album.. i need to start checking off my list not adding to it . LOL
hello spook, just google knockout rose. i have no doubt they would do well in your area.i never had any luck with roses. my dearest friend gave me such a hard time about them, to shut her up i planted some and have been very pleased with them.i mean i haven't done a thing to them..i just hope they do well over the winter. we are about 25 degrees colder than we should be right now. another wonderful smelling plant is the sweet tea olive...you can plant it in the ground or in pots..it is the best smell in the world...
Now THAT is a gorgeous garden! Looks right out of a magazine. What gardening zone are you in? 'Cuz I wish I was in yours
