Finally the tulips are blooming. This is the coldest Spring since 1952 here. I put out some pansies in the front.
How's everyone's gardens doing? Post some pictures! Especially if you have pumpkins! My pumpkin vines are growing rapidly and I'm very excited that I have a few baby pumpkins that look like they might actually go to term It's only my 2nd year growing pumpkins so, I still have a lot to learn.
Looks like your pumpkins are off to a good start Curl! We were late getting the garden tilled this year because of all the rain we had. The rabbits have already given me trouble with the pole bean sprouts. Next year I think I'll finally build the garden fence I've always wanted. I'd love to hear suggestions on fencing from those who have it. Pics would be great too!
I cant grow pumpkins here wish I could, but i posted some of my flowers
Nice pics Spookie! I especially like the passion flower, it's beautiful. Who would have ever guessed that you like purple flowers???
LOL! Yes who would have guessed! Actually the purple passion flower vine has really taken off. I love that plant because every winter I chop it down to the nub and every spring it comes back fuller than ever. I try to plant mostly purple in different shades because I like the cohesiveness it gives the garden but this year I had to add a tad of yellow and a pop of red. You can see a bit of the yellow in a pic of the water fountain I recently posted under garden statues and urns (i think) . I see you've had a lot of rain wish you would send some of that my way we could really really use it
