I was just wondering if anyone else around here currently has and/or has ever had a pet so wild & crazy that most people would think the animal was possessed by demons, or am I totally alone??? I have always liked animals, but ever since I took in the cat I have now from an old neighbor (she is a black manx), I'm starting to wonder why I ever started taking in pets in the first place... This cat is so crazy, I actually enjoy the days when she either just hisses at me and runs away or when I don't even see her whatsoever...but most days, she runs and jumps all over and then rushes into my room where she will start shrieking uncontrollably and then starts biting or scratching everything in site (usually me)... Well anyways, I just wanted to share that because maybe I am not alone on after all and perhaps someone else could share their stories (or even better, tell me what I could possibly do to chill this cat out before I throw her out on the street)...
I did think something was wrong with my cat at one point! I took her in as well, and turns out she had ear mites, yeast infections in both ears, and impacted anal glands!! She was a mess! She was hissing all the time, and growling at nothing, and biting her feet! After I got her ear mites gone, and infections treated, and glands cleared, she was a completely different cat! She still has her wierd quirks like licking feet and shoes, but she is no longer possessed! Maybe the cat is just coping... but you might trying taking her to the vet just in case! Lady (that is my cat) cost he $250 that day, but I was glad she was better!
I hate Manx. they have such a weird personality.
