Hello all

Jeff Nix here with MrSkeleton here to clarify the Group Buy referenced by Fred
.

To begin, we did promptly refund icemanfred upon his request, via paypal.

On the group buy: Initially, the buy was to our dealers only. We never extended this to the end users until the GB "leaked" out to the boards. We individually filled some personal requests through a few boards just as an intro of MrSkeleton to the end -users. The GB was officially closed but we added 150 units as an add on to accommodate the forum requests. Fred was among those late requests.

What we learned in mixing dealer *business* practice with individual buyers is that, as B2B distributors, working with end users on dealer styled transactions can be problematic. Notably, the import dynamic is laden with situational delay issues the exceed our control. This production was no positive exception.

We do plan to invite end users again in the future but will do so with a more perfected method for them in terms of expectation. We will offer through the auspices of the soon to be launched retail & end user website at Mr Skeleton - Your resource for Bucky's best props and accessories

Also as goodwill, for (iceman)Fred’s transaction, we granted him an open ended 10% discount *credit* for future use.

The retail & end user website will launch soon and I will notify you of that event as well.

Also. The *eBay seller ID* called bonestogo is one of our dealers based in New York. We do not sell MrSkeleton product on ebay.

Further, MrSkeleton hs been in business of 5 years now, connected to a parent import medical supply company of 9 years. MS is the company that re-established the Bucky line in thr marketplace when ACC divested the Bucky Boneyard unit from their parent company. MrSkeleton has been B2B since inception.

Please forward questions and comments as needed to me personally at jeffnix@gmail.com

Thanks for your time, Jeff Nix

Default MrSkeleton on eBay ?

Jeff with MrSkeleton here...

As misunderstanding usually provids the opportunity for clarification... on this point, We [MrSkeleton.com] do not sell MrSkeleton product on ebay.

The eBay seller ID called bonestogo is one of our dealers based in New York.

We supply several other eBay sellers as well.

bones to go is added to my gmail chat when i scroll over username bonesToGo on ebay it says jeffnix@gmail.com

bones to go sales so much on ebay but they dont have a website this is so they cant be tracked right back to you because that would be bad for business your distributors would get mad and stop buying

ever auction is private even buy it now's
a website would be cheaper than paying fees to ebay

don't see bones to go in the dealer section of mrskeleton.com

you must think people are stupid when it looks like a scam it probably is im glad i haven't bought anything from either one

anyone can call and find out if bones to go in new york has a valid resale license if they don't then what? well i dont have to tell you. i will call and i will report this type of fraud

you want people to place an order of XXX amount.that means should have things in stock. butt they BONES TO GO only ships directly from the manufacturer they don't ever have anything shipping from new york. how is that

i hope you people look at this and can see that this is a scam one way or another buy from someone that has the **** in stock

Another clarification, and thanks for the opportunity...

Bonestogo on eBay is in fact one of our eBay resellers. We also supply three others in that marketplace as well as a host of web based and brick & mortar outlets. Only one eBay client is noted on the MS dealer list but their eBay affiliation is not.

BTG was our first EB reseller and is the broad test market for our new products. The site is operated by Cindy Jacobs in New York. Our unique arrangement allows to interface with her contacts in that marketplace, hence, emails directed to her at Bonestogo@gmail.com are also dropped into our personal inbox. We handle all her bulk buys as well. 100% of her MS product sales fulfill via our Atlanta facility, as do most of our other represented dealers.

For additional clarification, see below in yellow inline continuity.

This has no bearing on their own competition, makes all marketers sharper..

ever auction is private even buy it now's MS= This is a BTG policy for buyer's privacy, has no relationship to MS

MS = It bears noting that this commenter has no direct experience with MS whereas so many on these boards who do would overwhelmingly vouch for the high standard of credibility we’ve earned these past years as we’ve operated in the background, supplying many of the vendors that you all buy from. Soon, but post 09 season, we will roll out an end user site which will be widely announced. It would not be possible to have evolved to this level of marketplace position without the blessing of confidence we’ve enjoyed up to this point. Thank you to all who have supported us in the past, we will continue to serve you exceptionally in the future! ~ Jeff Nix

I do not have knowledge of this group buy. The details of it is not posted.

I do not know what was promised from who.

Make sure to handle this issue in a civil manor. No insults, name calling or un-true implications can be tolerated. Truth can be told, nothing more.

1. If a merchant is found to knowingly make statements on the forum, they shall be removed from the forum.

2. If a member is found to knowingly make statements on the forum, they shall be removed from the forum.

If you ordered something from a merchant and they did not deliver "as per agreement" then I recommend that you attempt to remedy the problem..If that does not work, then luckily there is great protection via the credit card companies and paypal. If the merchant is still within the agreement, then you are limited to what you can do.

If you have information as a merchant or as a member that any fraud or lies has been committed, please contact me via private message.

I hope that this is a mis-understanding and can be worked out.

Thanks.

(I removed a post that included speculation)

I'm starting to go sour on this too. After inquiring, Jeff sent me a PayPal payment request, I paid for 2. I later asked for an update on the shipping date, and he replied about a week later saying he had no record of me, and to please provide more details. So I sent a copy of the request he sent to me for payment, and asked for a quick update on the situation and delivery date, and no response after 48 hours now.

I am thinking about filing a dispute with PP and asking for my money back, but it looks like you have to say something wasn't delivered or was not as advertised. Getting "cold feet" because this guy is not reliable and has my money does not seem to be a choice.

Anyone back out using PP another way?

I understand things change, but consistent communication is key in these situations. I have run a web business for 6 years now, and will ALWAYS reply to a customer who has paid me for something, even if I don't have an answer.

I am a BIG fan of buying online. It is convenient for many ways. Including this. Always attempt to work things out with a merchant. Most times they will help.

If they do not...then file a dispute with paypal, your credit card company etc.

There is also federal mail order laws (I think this is accurate..not positive) that if an item ordered has not shipped within 30 days of the initial promised delivery date, that they merchant must provide the option of cancelling the order. This of course is different if you agreed on particular terms. Like if you pre-order something to be delivered within 60 days, then you agreed on that 60 days.

Do know though that once you file a dispute with a company, they may refuse to sell you anything from that point forward.

Merchants need to respect their customers. Jeff actually seems like a great guy. I talked to him on the phone before and was impressed. Personally, I would shoot him over one more email with big giant letters in the subject field just in case he missed the email (easy to do this time of year). Give him a chance to make good, if not...dispute.

From what I can tell, this is just a bunch of mis-communication.

Just a suggestion. I do not know about this transaction. I would send that one more email and give him a chance...send him a private message from this forum too!

I think that he will make good. My guess is that he is overwhelmed right now.

(this is just an opinion)

The e mail was full of reasons/ excusses. Pharsed in a way, as if to say: "you understand" Talking about manfacuring timetable? WTF? I still dont understand what manufacuting timetables has to do with 4 th quality products?
But the bottom line is this is a time sensitive transaction. And vague shipping dates in October for halloween props is no longer acceptable.
I have not recived a response from them.
Funny, I have been in contact with Mr. Skeleton about pricing and shippment. I never seem to get straight answers and my questions aren't directly answered. I'm still waiting on October pricing changes I was promised. I've given up with them. Not only that, it is my understanding that they don't have distribution rights for Bucky after Jan. 1st of 2008. I've delt with skeletonstore in the past. They always have plenty of Bucky's in stock and their customer service has never disapointed me. To me it is a no-brainer.
