Wow, thats outstanding, I wasnt sure we'd get that high.. Leaving the co-op open to the end of the month(5 more days) should snag at least another 5... I'm going to check with a number of places for the servo co-op today, I should have an answer by tomorrow or so..

USScAir gets a discount rate with FedEx, and I'm planning to ship out the servo order by either them or USPS(depends who's got the better rate). I can ship 6lbs for $10 with FedEx, 6-10lbs for $14, and I think 10-12lbs for $18. I'll check what the flat-rate boxes go for at USPS..

The jaw snaps into place and is hinged. Inside the 8"x10"box, along with the skull is a plastic stand. Leaving the stand out, you can easily fit two skulls in a box to compact them for shipping.

Once glued together, most people use a Min-wax type of stain for weathering.

Thanks for posting Pic Tj all mine had clay on them.

What is anyone's opinion of using the dense foam skulls that were available in K-Mart and other stores? the jaw is glued closed but looks like it can easily be separated...

Yeah, it can be seperated, but the hinge area needs to be reinforced to prevent the foam from splitting.. prob some fiberglass cloth on the inside of the jawbone

Here's the thread for using the foam skulls that EvilBob used:
Servo Skull Pirate

and the pix of the jaw servo bracket: http://hearsefactory.com/mini-IMG_1123.JPG

Hey Capt Jack,

Since you have a couple already, in your opinion, do you think that the contents of a brain mold would fit in the cavity of one of these skulls. I'm trying to justify upping my order, and I would love to get an additional one to use to serve my 'brain dip' out of at our party. What do you think? Is the cavity large enough to accommodate that?
