I'm just looking for a heads up if anyone is planning one so I can budget it in.
Regards.

Another group buy? Are you kidding? Why isn't there a smiley or icon throwing a brick at someone on here?
Seriously, I would probably take part in another one even after all the recent fiascos. I might even be willing to organize one if I could find the right product at a really good price, and if we all agreed on some safeguards up front. It has to be a great deal though because you are essentially paying double shipping - once to the organizer and then to the buyer. There are always good deals popping up all over the internet with free or low shipping, so I actually do most of my shopping that way. You just have to be ready for them when they come along.

I'd be interested in a GB on a big item if it can be done... I saw a thread a while back about an attempted GB on Twitch and Bones I believe. (two big twitching foam props) I've been interested in Twitch for the last 3 years but can't bring myself to pay 350 bucks + shipping. (I know, I know, build your own with a wiper motor... )
Just throwing that out there while a discussion is going on... I'd be happy to join another GB- even though I'm currently out money on a separate GB- for the moment. If anyone has a definite idea of what they're looking at then I'd love to hear it.
(also wouldn't mind waiting until after Christmas) money is blowwwwn at the moment.

I sooo hear you about the money!!! That is why I wanted to get an idea of anything in the near future. I missed most of them for this year because, I just never think to check there in the off season since there is hardly anyone around.

I'd love to see a GB done for the Pitini Enterprises Skeletons. I got skunked on getting some of these at Walgreen's.

Are these the ones mentioned on Stiltbeast's tutorial for corpsing? I'd be in for that also if the shipping wouldn't kill the value. I got one at Spirit's 50% off sale for 25.
Would all depend on shipping realities I guess.

Despite what apparently happened earlier this year (I read those threads WOW what a crook) I am interested in participating in a group buy if the price (and product) are right. The Pitini Skellis? If you could arrange that, I think the answer is yes.
It took forever to dig those corpses up. I'm going to let them sit out for a few more months.

I actually found a supplier for those skeletons. (I bought a couple from walgreens myself) And I was thinking about leading a GB more like January time frame. The rest of this season is just so slammed for me personally. I also had some ideas on how I wanted to try and run it and wanted to get some of the logistics worked out in advance, so I knew exactly what I was getting into.

The Walgreens skeletons were amazing and I think there would be a ton of interested people. Unfortunately, I was a little turned off after reading about some of the group buy fiascos that occurred this year. For me to participate in a future group buy, the terms of the deal would have to be written in stone. Good luck to anyone interested in organizing!
