Thread: 2010 UFO/Alien yard haunt pics+videos

Halloween was amazing this year! There were close to 500 trick or treaters who made it to the door and got their candy. Several were to scared to come to the door. Others ran right away and didn't stop to get their candy.

The layout goes:

On driveway: My father in army fatigues trying to "cover up" the ufo landing. Telling people it's just a weather balloon and to not listen to the FBI agent. He was also crowd control and made sure only about 5 to 7 people came to the door at a time.

At Door: Myself in FBI outfit with FBI badge and long black overcoat. I'd open the door telling them I think it's a UFO and I know it's a cover up, but i need proof. So I'd ask if they've seen any creatures or aliens around. Right as they said no I'd trigger the alien head to pop out from behind the front door, between me and the trick or treaters. It had a loud creepy high pitch scream with it. I yell "oh my god what it that, RUN RUN!" pointing them to the right of the door and they get to...

Past door: Friend Rob as Men In Black agent R. He's stop the people, calm them down and asks them to gather around and to look at his neurolizer (L.E.D. flashlight) and flashed it. He'd tell them what they saw was fake and just a halloween display, essentially acting like he's erasing their memory and planting the fake halloween display idea as reality. Finally he'd hand out candy and send them off with a "Happy Halloween".


We had this running like clockwork without any hitches. It was great fun and now onto the pictures! Sorry there are not that many. My sister Nicole and her boyfriend Steve stopped by dressed as tron people. The pictures of them didn't come out well but it was impressive to say the least. They were glowing blue and everything.

Great Job!!! Love seeing Something Different. The Propulsion System is All wrong, but who would expect earthlings to know of such things in this stage of development.

Who said it was propulsion lol. I was thinking more like exhaust, like the back to the future delorean. than you all for the comments. these pics and videos just don't do the alien justice on how creepy and unnerving it is in person! I got the willies when placing the strobe light. I had the compressor on so it would be in position. the compressor charged and the alien got a burst of more air causeing it to jolt. I was looking right at it with the strobe .

I had the old unsolved mysteries theme mixed in with the war of the worlds sountrack (2009 movie) also had xfiles in there naturally.

Wow that looks great!!!

I love it! Great backstory too. And terrific turnout! Wow! But I especially love the fact that your dad and friend were part of it. that was cool to hear and I'm sure you guys will be laughing about this halloween for years to come.

The pics look great. Were the lights on the perimeter static or chasing BTW? Also curious what you used for those great eyes on the alien?
