This is what I put together for this year. Just a couple pics for now that I took before I got into costume, if I see anymore that others took I will add them. A lot of it was from the last 2 years (tombstones, creepy guy on the house and in the tree, lights...) but this year I put solar lanterns in the yard and they looked like they were floating. Spider was new and so were the teeth, they were a huge hit with everyone.
Next year I am going to add some fog into the mix and go with a couple pneumatics. Might actually use the inside of the garage to throw everyone off (people always think something is behind the curtains  )
Enjoy! Friends, family and neighbors sure did.
Next year the house needs eyes!!

Very clever on the garage doors and love the spider!
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing,Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before

Thanks! It had glowing eyes, I'll see if I can find a pic.
edit:
Yes I did. I have to say a big thanks to members ScaryGarry and Spider Rider whom posted some great info on building a spider, it was very helpful. I was able to put it together in a couple days.

Over the garage they are just black curtains, the garage door is up because behind them I have the laptop hooked up to some speakers playing halloween type music.
I needed about 7 curtains for a 16' wide garage so they could hang comfortably, the real pain was figuring out how to hold them so they didn't fly around with the wind while not creating a death trap behind the curtains in case anyone had to walk back there

Go for it! Your spider was a major inspiration for me to start mine, next year I am going to modify it a bit. I have a few other pics but I think I was so caught up with getting everything out on Halloween that I forgot to take close-up pics of the finished product.
I put everything together starting 2 weeks before Halloween, things were hectic.

Thanks! Can't wait to see what you do with the idea. I am going to change it up a little for next year, the house is going to have eyes this time around.
One thing I have neglected over the past 2 years is eerie lighting. It has always been a few strobes in the yard and some purple strands on the house, 2011 GETS EERIE LIGHTING UPGRADES! I have seen some great examples on this forum.
