Thought this would be interesting.
How is everyone holding up after the big day?
Im tired from preparing and tear down, have hardened Great Stuff on a couple knuckles, paint and fake blood stains all over my hands. But it all was so worth it!

I'm good. my neighbors and I have torn down the cemetery. I'm now sitting here munching on some candy. lol. Have to wait to put the stuff away as I need to find a large enough Bin or two.
It was definatly worth all the frustration and upset with the neighbors to see all the smiling kids, and especially the scared ones.
Happy day after halloween!

Very tired but good. Just got done taking down everything to place in my guest bedroom. I'm replacing my cardboard boxes with plastic bins this year so I need to go buy some on Wednesday.

I always get depressed after Halloween. I start to feel it around 8:00 when I'm walking my kids door to door tot...that familiar sadness that the evening is almost finished.

It may sound silly but I just don't want that Halloween-feeling to end. I could really live in that feeling year round.
As I was going up the stair, I saw a man that wasn't there.
He wasn't there again today...Oh how I wish he'd go away.

Broke some finger nails, sliced my finger and a little more rest and some mortin and I am good to go. Took everything down last night and have to put some things around in my rooms for my party this Saturday. The rest will be put down stairs. The good side of it I lost about 5 lbs lol!

TIRED!!!

I'm so glad we decided to take just about everything down last night. Now just the fence and the big spiders on the trees to bring in. Then the hard part: sorting, boxing, and hauling it all into the attic.Dear Sweet Leota, Beloved By All. In Regions Beyond Now But Having a Ball...

Holding up okay.
Tired but satisfied. For me, the day after H'ween ushers in the "winter holidays" and I am already dreaming of turkey. H'ween trumps the other holidays but I just really love this time of year...the coolness of late fall and early winter...it's a special, quiet, close time of year.

I hear that, Boo Baby! I started to really feel it last night just after 9, TOTs had wound down but I was still so jazzed, and then I started watching the parade from NYC, which really made me sad to remember 5 years ago being at the parade/street party in Salem!
It just felt too early to close up shop, but with nothing to do here in town on a Sunday night, my only option was to watch movies.
