It looks like a halloween bomb went off in front of my house right now.

I have everything down Now I need to sort and pack it away untill next year.

Putting it up isn't so bad I do a little everyday for a couple weeks. It all comes down and gets put up in 1 day! That's a lot of work. My back hurts already.

It's worth it after all the compliments last night. I was told numerous times "you have the best house in the city." Just wait until next year! I'm teaching myself pneumatics & perhaps some electrical for props.

My yard display is all down and stashed in the garage for now. I'll be parking in the driveway fo a couple of weeks till it all finds a home in the attic. Now I have all the indoor stuff to deal with and that is the biggest pain to me. Too many small breakable things that have to be wrapped and packed carefully. And I think I am DONE with Spooky Town for good!!! I love setting it up and playing around with the scenes but it is just way too much trouble to pack up and store. Oh well, better get busy...

Well it took me about 6 hours but everything is broke down packed up and put away in the Halloween shed. It's great having an 8' x 8' shed just to store my halloween stuff. best part is the shed is only between 1/2 & 3/4 full.

    I agree with you!!!!!

It tooks us 3 weeks to put it up our display

be have to take down the majority of our props before Nov 1 (city ordinance)

By 10:30.... I could barely walk.... my back and knee hurt so bad

Next year... I will have a pair of scissors in one hand (I am a little bit zip tie crazy) and a drink inthe other

    I am jealous

I have 10' x 8' shed but I use it for all holiday decorations and it is already full

Halloween is the only holiday I really decorate for. All my christmas stuff fits under my basement stairs. HAHA thats funny I have a shed for halloween & a small cubbyhole for christmas. I bet most people are just the oposite.

Well this year Halloween comes down & Xmas starts going up. Our TOT's want to come for an open house because actually I have more Xmas decorations than Halloween but that is quickly changing! Anyways they love our house both holidays but this year they want to come in!! Oh Boy!! Gonna have to stay on my cocktails...Extra Strenght Tylenol with an Alka Selzer chaser & while its working I'll rub myself down with Mr. Ben Gay! Yeah I feel better already!

My decor took weeks for our Halloween party, but it will only take hours to take down and store. I always found the taking down was easier than the decorating itself!
