That's just what I was thinking when I saw the countdown clock! So much planning to do, so much work to do, and so little time!

Whenever there was a quiet time between tots last night (which wasn't often) I was busy sketching out plans for next years display.

I love this forum - there aren't many people who get so excited about Halloween - it's great to be able to talk Halloween in November and May without having people roll their eyes. Mind you, we don't really know if people on the forum are rolling their eyes, do we?

All my props are store, ebay, craigslist, online bought. This year I think I am going to attempt to try to make some props. After all is cleaned up and storage shed is reorganized I am going to try. I did revamp my Calderon this year. This thing is big it weighs a good 15+ lbs. (metal) I added installation foam from a can all along the rim of it and painted it neon green and shinned a black light to it and it came out pretty good. Sloppy like I wanted it.

Where's the kaboom? There was supposed to be an earth-shattering KABOOM!!

We didn't get a lot of kids last night, which we never do. And I can't complain too much because we did get more then last year. But as I was getting a few last minute things set up I found myself thinking about what I could do for next year LOL! It never fails! I love doing it and think I'd still decorate even if we didn't get ANY kids.

We had made a papermache pumpkin head last year, inspired by pumpkinrot. I think we'd like to try to make a few more things for next year. We better get crackin though.....only 364 days left
