Anybody keep up "autumn"-type stuff through Thanksgiving?

I'll keep out our uncarved pumpkins (JoLs don't last long here in SoCal) but any actual "Halloween"-ey stuff will come down. I will probably keep out some of my autumn leaf garlands and the little fall display I have on my porch.

Never got around to carving our pumpkins. We had some wind issues this morning, so we took that off our list. Now I can just keep them around until I start to focus on the holidays.

My gargoyles live on top of my bookcases year round. We keep a pair of pvc candles that hold LED tea lights in iron candlesticks on the dinner table. A couple skulls stay in the workshop as models. The uncarved pumpkins are pie pumpkins so they'll get cooked and eaten in the nest couple of weeks.

I wish I could keep it all up...

I tried to convice my husband to dress our spiders and spider victims as Pilgrims and Native Americans until Thanksgiving.... but he was a party pooper

So much work went into our "Scary Scene Contest" that its been up ever since Larry ran the contest. We do change some things out but all the wall & ceiling stuff stays up year round. We don't use the garage for parking its mainly storage, and no one goes in there so it just stays up.

My baby....Halloween Homer & the Mad Doctor along with my big witch hat reside year round in my office. Our coffin is at the front door in the building we run our candy business in.

I'm lucky enough to have a small bedroom (about 8X10, maybe a tad smaller) that I call my Halloween room. It is where all of the Halloween props except for the blow molds are kept. I try to keep it tidy, as sometimes we do have to use it as a second guest room, but it is usually stuffed full of my treasures and projects I'm working on. (Guests don't stay for long in that room!)

Whenever I want to feel the Halloween spirit I can grab a drink and go and sit in there and plan the next project. It's so much better than when I had all of my props etc stored in the shed where they'd get musty smelling.

I'll keep up the orange lights on our porch and add some "fall" type decor. A leave garland, fall welcome sign...things like that. Unfortunately we didn't carve any pumpkins this year. But we do have a couple uncarved outfront. We'll leave those out along with the bails of hay. Other then that, all of the Halloween stuff will come down. It's nice to be able to leave something out though. I love coming home at night to lights on the porch!!!
