None at our house either. Though, my wife and I attend our church's trunk-or-treat (just under 500 kids this year - yay!)... but my inlaws stayed home and left the lights on - nada.

We had 4 knocks on our door. All were actually a decent age. No high schoolers coming around for free candy in no costumes. However, at the same time, the kids that did come, only one was in full costume (Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz), two in partial costumes (one Iron Man without the mask and some costume I'm not even sure what it was), and one kid who wasn't even in costume. The kid in the maskless Iron Man costume was not happy with his bag of candy (filled with several pieces of misc chocolate like Reeses, Hersheys, and Almond Joys), and let us know that he wanted another bag, and with his mother standing there, tried to snatch another bag out of our bowl. Luckily my wife pulled the bowl away fast enough and said that we needed to save some for other kids. The mom never said anything, and the kid just stormed away, saying he wanted more candy.

So all in all, another dud of a Halloween night as far as Trick or Treating goes. On the plus side we have a lot of left over candy to eat.

And to see a picture of what boredom looks like on Halloween night, here it is.

    ~340 trick or treaters.
Had 3 pieces of candy left and shut the lights out. A group of 10 kids came knocking at the door and had to tell them I ran out of candy.

I feel for you BackYardHaunter- no TOT's is very sad. We got 2 this year, which is one less than last year. I had treat bags made up too, with toys and chocolates.
I don't know if it's the kids or the parents to blame, but in my area, but there is such a lack of interest. I don't get it!!!!

Shame about the rude mom and kid - hope the others were more appreciative.

LOVE the photo! I could have easily cozied up next to you there for a good scary movie instead of wait all night to scare kids only to get 2 TOT's.

less than 20 here. I am thinking to start a revolution on my street and get everyone to do more, see if we can lure the kids in.
