Thread: No body wants to TOT..whats the deal?!?

Its been dark for 1 1/2 hours so far and no TOT's yet. Great weather and everything but for some reason folks are just driving by slow and keep going....I think I'm about to be very disapointed this year. I need a moral boost... COME ON TOT's....free candy!

Tomorrow is the day for us...no trick or treaters before Halloween around here...come to think of it I think as kids we tried that once or twice...lol...

Ours is tomorrow, too. Last night a neighboring town had their Fright Night sponsored by the police and the downtown merchants. We went and their were like 2,000 there. It was fun, but crowded. The three of us dressed as witches and my niece collected a sack of candy.

Tonight she had a middle school dance and a couple of churches includding ours had a carnival and the mall hosted Malloween.

Tomorrow our downtown area will hold Monsters on Main which is a TOT event and there will be the door to door TOTing.

We were supposed to have our Boo Bash tonight, but the stomach bug---bad one that is running through the area made us decide to cancel. DH is very sick and so I made the call on Thursday night. I am so sad sitting her moping.

One year we literally had to stand on the sidewalk... yelling and waving widely to get any tots... we got 10... a small victory.... and better than 0

I feel your pain. The neighborhood we live in is an older neighborhood, and we never get any TOT's. So, we go one town over to some friends of ours who live in a newer subdivision, and celebrate Halloween with them. They get TOT's out the wazoo. We're doing it tomorrow night, so if the kids came tonight..Oh well, come back tomorrow night..you know..on HALLOWEEN!
